Environmental / Public Health

Environmental management strives to ensure the protection of West Virginia University and the surrounding community from potential hazards that may be generated during the course of our mission. The primary focus is compliance with federal, state and local regulations with regard to water, air and hazardous waste. In addition, our staff emphasizes the proactive goals of pollution prevention, waste minimization, training, and education.
